Gaythorne Day hospital is Montserrat's third built facility and is Located on Brisbane's northern suburbs. It is primarily used for endoscopy, podiatry and cosmetic surgery procedures. The theatres are available to be utilised by a variety of medical specialist groups to perform day only procedures. Ideal for Dental surgery, Urology, Gynaecology, Dermatology, Orthopaedics, Plastic surgery, IVF, ENT and general day surgery operations.

The hospital comprises of:

• 2 full operating theatres
• 2 pre operative beds
• 4 first stage recovery beds
• A suite for 6 patients in second stage recovery and
• Central sterilising department.
